So, I could finally attend the first lectures from Thursday to Saturday. And I am very positively surprised.
The course led by Prof. Karl Moore dealt with change management and leadership. Karl Moore lives in Montréal (CAN) and is an associate professor at McGill University. He actively brought his large network into the classroom, which enabled us to listen to guest speeches by the head of partnerships of Real Madrid and a senior partner of BCG.
Due to the pandemic, the course was conducted via zoom. However, we had the opportunity to participate in the meeting in the classroom and therefore got to know the other students. I noticed that Icelanders tend to be rather reserved and introverted (before they had a couple of drinks), but when you talk to them, they are extremely friendly and open-minded. I am now curious to see how the first group work will turn out.
